Hang Nguyen started her career as a lecturer at the University of Foreign Language Studies in Danang, Vietnam in 2010. She was awarded a New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Award in 2012 and a Victoria Doctoral Scholarship in 2018 to study Applied Linguistics at the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand. She is currently teaching at the Department of Foreign Language Teacher at the University of Foreign Language Studies in Danang, Vietnam. Her research interests include vocabulary studies, English for academic purposes, and English language teaching methodology.
