ThS.NCS Trần Thanh Vũ

Ths.NCS Trần Thanh Vũ hiện đang thực hiện đề tài nghiên cứu bậc tiến sĩ tại Khoa Sư phạm, Đại học Durham, Vương quốc Anh theo chương trình học bổng của Hội đồng Nghiên cứu Khoa học Kinh tế - Xã hội (ESRC) - thuộc Chính phủ Vương quốc Anh. Trước khi bắt đầu chương trình tiến sĩ, thầy Vũ đã có kinh nghiệm công tác tại bậc THPT ở TPHCM cũng như tham đào tạo giáo viên tại Trường Đại học Sài Gòn và Horizon TESOL (thuộc Hội Nghiên cứu và Giảng dạy tiếng Anh TPHCM). 

Năm 2019, thầy Vũ đồng thời nhận được học bổng tiến sĩ toàn phần tại Đại học Maryland, College Park, Hoa Kỳ và Đại học Kỹ thuật Swinburne, Úc; sau đó vào năm 2021 thầy là nghiên cứu sinh ngành Giáo dục duy nhất nhận được học bổng toàn phần của Hội đồng Nghiên cứu Khoa học Kinh tế - Xã hội Vương quốc Anh tại khu vực Bắc Ireland và Đông Bắc Anh. 

Về công tác chuyên môn cộng đồng, thầy Vũ hiện là thành viên Hội đồng điều hành Tiểu ban Đào tạo Giáo viên (Teacher Education Interest Section) thuộc Liên đoàn Giảng dạy tiếng Anh Quốc tế (TESOL International Association) với vai trò biên tập viên cho bản tin chuyên môn. Bên cạnh đó, thầy cũng thành lập và điều hành nhóm TESOL Research Collaboration Network (TERECONET) từ năm 2020. 

Trong nghiên cứu khoa học, thầy Trần Thanh Vũ có một số công bố trên các tạp chí, hội thảo và sách chuyên ngành. Thầy cũng tham gia bình duyệt cho một số tạp chí khoa học và hội thảo như TESOL Journal, Reflective Practice, TESOL International Convention & Language Expo hay VietTESOL International Conference.
